How to configure the Android Receipts Printer

Installation and Configuration Guide for the Android Receipts Printer

This guide will help you install the tk-printer APK on your device and configure printing options for your POS system. Follow the steps below to complete the process.




Download APK

  1. Click here to download the APK file for the Android Receipts Printer
    1. The APK file is named tk-printer. This app is required for printing receipts from your POS.

Installation Guide

Follow these steps to install the app:
  1. Allow installation from unknown sources:
    1. Go to Settings on your Android device
    2. Select Security and enable Unknown sources
This step may vary depending on the device. If the option is enabled, proceed to the next step.

      2. Install the APK
    1. Locate the downloaded tk-printer APK file on your device
    2. Tap the file to start the installation
    3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation
Ensure that the app is installed correctly.

Note: the app does not have a visible user interface (UI).

Printing Configuration for POS

The next step is to configure how you want to print the receipt. There are 3 options available; select the one that you find most convenient for you.
  1. Enable Auto Print (Recommended): Configures the POS to automatically print receipts without additional intervention.
  2. Manual Print: Allows you to manually print the receipt.
  3. Print Using System Dialog: Uses the standard system print dialog to send the receipt to the printer.

Note: Options 1 and 2 will only be available after installing the tk-printer APK.
